   The profiles and accessories that are produced for architectural purpose are expcted to be resistant to external conditions while presenting a beautiful appearance. The initial step of the anodizing process done for this aim is the mechanic pre-treatment.

a-Mechanic Pre-Treatment

   The aluminium profiles which arrive at our company ready for the anodizing process, are initially cleaned and corrected on the surface and later put through mechanic process (polishing , grinding, brushing) in order to achive the required shining appearence.

   During the act of polishing we use special clothes and polish to give the surface a shining look. Brushing is the process of creating lines with fibre brushes in order to cover the extrusion streaks. The aim of the grinding process done with the special grinding machine; to remove the streaks and scratches on the surface before the act of polishing or to create specially designed lines on the surface. After all this the surface is ready for the chemical treatment.

a-Chemical Treatment

   After the mechanic treatment there may still be some remains caused by the metal layer that was removed or the oil that was used.

   These remains are cleaned in the oil removing baths. The special baths are used in order to create matt surface and polished surface. To give the surface of the material a special silky look, it is possible to treat the profiles in baths enriched with special addivities.

   E0 : Matting

   E1 : Grinding

   E2 : Brushing

   E3 : Polishing

   E4 : Grinding + Brushing

   E5 : Grinding + Polishing

   E6 : Matting with special chemicals

   By the help of anodizing process we achieve high quality profiles resistant to corrosion. The anodizing thickness that is expected for architectural use is asually 20-25 micron outside the building and 5-15 micron outside the building and 5-15 micron inside. This thickness may vary according our customer's wish.

   And again due to customer expactation the anodized aluminium might be covered so that dirt cannot move into the pores and the pigments don't flow out if the product is coloured. The layer gets also resistant to chemical and physical damage.

   Starting from the entering of the raw material up to the process check and product exit all the work is done by a proffesional stuff in our highly equipped laboratory.
